Coco with straight rail

COCO WITH A STRAIGHT RAIL is a bed in a characteristic shape of a roof with straight rails, in a Scandinavian style.

Buying the COCO WITH A STRAIGHT RAIL you get a complete bed frame with a base for a mattress, vertical beams, elements of a roof and the set of rails presented in the photos.

You also get all the elements to assemble a bed, screws and water based glue (essential in assembly process to glue the bed elements together where they are jointed with wooden pegs.)

MATERIAL:   

Beds are made of high quality pine plywood, 1st class.

Plywood is more resilient than solid wood, it does not crack and is free of defects (knots).

All the elements are hand or mechanically sanded, they are smooth and their edges are rounded.

BED BASE:

A bed base is included in a price, it consists of resilient slats that are not connected.

Each slat has to be screwed to the bed frame, necessary screws are included.

DIMENSIONS:

Height of (higher) vertical beams to the roof is 100 cm.

Height of (shorter) vertical beams is 68,2 cm.

The total height of COCO WITH A STRAIGHT RAIL model depends on the length of the chosen bed:

a bed 140 cm long:

• a short element of the roof is 65 cm,
• a long element of the roof is 119,1 cm,
• a total height of the bed in the highest point is 138,5 cm

a bed 160 cm long:

• a short element of the roof is 77,4 cm,
• a long element of the roof is 131,1 cm,
• a total height of the bed in the highest point is 145,5 cm

a bed 180 cm long:

• a short element of the roof is 89,8 cm,
• a long element of the roof is 143,9 cm,
• a total height of the bed in the highest point is 153 cm

a bed 190 cm long:

• a short element of the roof is 96 cm,
• a long element of the roof is 150,1 cm,
• a total height of the bed in the highest point is 156,5 cm

a bed 200 cm long:

• a short element of the roof is 102,2 cm,
• a long element of the roof is 156,3 cm,
• a total height of the bed in the highest point is 160 cm

A standard height of bed legs is 10 cm.

In the “Additional options” you can choose higher legs, like in the option with the drawer – 19cm, (when you choose the higher legs the height of the high vertical beam is 110 cm and the short vertical beam is 78,2 cm, the total height of the bed is 10 cm higher).

The bed legs are made of 45/65 mm elements.

The bed frame is made of 90/20 mm elements.

Taking into account a mattress with a thickness of 10 cm, a child sleeps at a height of 27 cm.

The total height of the rails from the bed frame is about 25 cm. The space between the rail and the bed frame is about 16 cm.

COCO WITH A STRAIGHT RAIL is equipped with a front rail that is 1/2 of the bed length and can be removed. It should always be assembled starting from the shorter vertical beam, the entry is always situated next to the longer vertical beam.

In the “Additional options” you can ask for the front rail that is 2/3 of the bed length.

NOTE!

To get the overall size of the bed you need to add 9 cm to the given length and width.

When you choose a size given on the website you get the size of the mattress.

MAXIMUM LOAD OF THE BED IS 100 KG.

VARNISHING:

The beds are varnished with water based paints, which are odourless and ecological.

The water based paint is hypoallergenic and child safe.

MATTRESS:

The mattress is not included in this offer.

You can fit the mattress on the mattresses tab.

When you choose a size of a bed given on the website you get the size of the mattress.

The mattress sits 3 cm inside the frame.

Please select the mattresses of thickness maximum 9-12 cm.
