Bianco Duo

BIANCO DUO is a house bed, in a Scandinavian style.

Buying the BIANCO DUO you get a complete bed frame with a base for a mattress, vertical beams, a mini-roof and the set of rails presented in the photos.

You also get all the elements to assemble a bed, screws and water based glue (essential in assembly process to glue the bed elements together where they are jointed with wooden pegs.)

MATERIAL:   

Beds are made of high quality pine plywood, 1st class.

Plywood is more resilient than solid wood, it does not crack and is free of defects (knots).

All the elements are hand or mechanically sanded, they are smooth and their edges are rounded.

BED BASE:

A bed base is included in a price, it consists of resilient slats that are not connected.

Each slat attaches to the bed frame with pockets provided in the slatted base set.

When choosing the bed size 200x120 or 200x140, the slatted base is flat, knotty, and made of solid wood.

DIMENSIONS:

Height of the vertical beams to the roof is 90 cm.

The total height of BIANCO DUO model depends on the width of the chosen bed:

• a bed 60 cm wide – the total height at the highest point  -  125 cm,
• a bed 70 cm wide – the total height at the highest point  -  130 cm,
• a bed 80 cm wide – the total height at the highest point  -  135 cm,
• a bed 90 cm wide – the total height at the highest point  -  140 cm.
  
  

A standard height of bed legs is 10 cm.

The bed legs are made of 45/65 mm elements.

The bed frame is made of 90/20 mm elements.

Taking into account a mattress with a thickness of 10 cm, a child sleeps at a height of 27 cm.

The entry of the BIANCO DUO bed is situated in the middle, the bed is equipped with the rails on each side and two front rails can be removed.

The total height of the rails from the bed frame is about 30 cm. 

The space between the rail and the bed frame is about 5 cm.

One rail length equals 1/3 of the bed length so the rails together are 2/3 of the bed length.

The entry is 1/3 of the bed length.

The length of the rails and the entry depends on the length of the chosen bed:

• a bed 120 cm long – one rail - approx. 40 cm, the entry – approx. 40 cm
• a bed 140 cm long – one rail - approx. 47 cm, the entry – approx. 47 cm
• a bed 160 cm long – one rail - approx. 53 cm, the entry – approx. 53 cm,
• a bed 180 cm long – one rail - approx. 60 cm, the entry – approx. 60 cm,
• a bed 190 cm long – one rail - approx. 63 cm, the entry – approx. 63 cm,
• a bed 200 cm long – one rail - approx. 67 cm, the entry – approx. 67 cm.

To get the overall size of the bed you need to add 9 cm to the given length and width.

When you choose a size given on the website you get the size of the mattress.

MAXIMUM LOAD OF THE BED IS 100 KG.

VARNISHING:

The beds are varnished with water based paints, which are odourless and ecological.

The water based paint is hypoallergenic and child safe.

- mint (NCS S 0520-B90G)




- blue (NCS S 0520-B10G)

- pink (NCS S 0520-R20B)

- clear coat

MATTRESS:

The mattress is not included in this offer.

You can fit the mattress on the mattresses tab.

When you choose a size of a bed given on the website you get the size of the mattress.

The mattress sits 3 cm inside the frame.

Please select the mattresses of thickness maximum 9-12 cm.
