Classic Scandinavian style bed with a drawer
The set includes:
- A complete bed frame with a mattress slatted base, vertical beams, a set of rails visible in the pictures, and a drawer/drawers.
- All assembly elements: gold screws, silver nuts, wooden dowels, and water-based glue (which is necessary during assembly to glue the bed elements in places where they are joined using wooden dowels).
Material
The beds are made of selected class 1 pine edge-glued wood. Glued wood is more durable than solid wood, does not crack, and has no defects (knots). All elements are carefully sanded by hand and mechanically until smooth – the shapes are rounded.
Bed base
The bed base is included in the product price, it consists of unjoined sprung slats. Each slat must be attached to the bed frame using the pockets included in the bed base set.
*When choosing the 200x120 and 200x140 size, the bed base is flat, knotty, and made of solid wood.
Construction and entry
The front rail is removable and universal. It can be mounted on either side (right or left).
Dimensions and parameters
- Height of vertical beams: is approx. 52.5 cm.
- Legs: The standard height of the legs for the drawer is 19.5 cm.
- Cross-sections: Bed legs: 45/65 mm. Bed frame: 90/20 mm.
- Rails: The bed comes standard with a front rail that is 1/2 the length of the bed (optional extension to 2/3 or 3/4).
The total height of the rails from the bed frame is approx. 23 cm, and the gap between the rungs is approx. 5 cm.
- External dimensions: You need to add 9 cm in length and width to the total bed dimension.
Drawers
The BASIC BED WITH RUNGS RAIL PLUS model is an option enlarged with a drawer/drawers depending on the size:
- For beds with a length up to 160 cm, you receive ONE DRAWER as standard.
- For beds with a length over 160 cm, you receive ONE OR TWO DRAWERS as standard.
- WHEN CHOOSING A BED SIZE OF 200x120 AND 200x140, YOU RECEIVE A DRAWER/DRAWERS WITH A WIDTH OF 100 CM
There is also an option in our offer, a DRAWER WITH SLEEPING FUNCTION, in which instead of ordinary bottoms you receive a drawer with an additional slatted base for a mattress. The drawer then acts as a second bed.
- The front of the drawer is 18 cm high.
- Drawer handle(s), two options to choose from: milled handle or string handle.
Varnishing and finishing
We varnish the beds with ecological, odorless water-based paints. They are hypoallergenic and completely safe for children.
In the dark walnut, light walnut, and teak versions, we use a water-based stain, protected with a clear varnish, which protects the wood and beautifully highlights its natural structure.

Colors may vary depending on screen settings.
Mattress
Mattresses are not included in the beds from our offer. However, you can choose a suitable mattress in the mattresses tab.
Choosing a given bed size on the page means the size of the mattress.
- The mattress goes into the bed frame by 3 cm.
- Please choose mattresses with a maximum thickness of 9-12 cm (a higher mattress may reduce the effectiveness of the safety rails and lower the level of security).
- Considering a 10 cm thick mattress (as in the reference picture), the child sleeps at a safe height of 36 cm.
- When choosing a mattress for the drawer, you must subtract 10 cm from the length of the chosen bed size (i.e., bed 160/80 = mattress 150/80). The mattress for the drawer should have a maximum thickness of 9 cm.
*For beds with dimensions 200x120 and 200x140, the mattress for the drawer should have dimensions 190x100 cm (mattress thickness - 9 cm).
