The BALI WITH RUNG RAIL bed is a classic bed with Scandinavian-style railings.
When purchasing the BALI WITH RUNG RAIL bed, you will receive a complete bed frame with a mattress base, vertical beams, elements of a mini house, a drawer or drawers and the set of rails presented in the photos.
You will also receive all the elements for assembly, screws, and water-based glue (which is necessary during assembly to bond the bed elements where they are joined with wooden dowels).
MATERIAL:
The beds are made of selected pine plywood class 1.
Glued wood is more durable than solid wood, does not crack, and does not have defects (knots).
All elements are hand and mechanically sanded, smooth – shapes are rounded.
BED BASE:
The bed frame includes a mattress base and consists of non-connected spring slats.
Each slat must be attached to the bed frame using the pockets that are included with the slat kit.
BED ENTRY:
Front railing is detachable - universal.
Possibility of mounting the railing on any side (right - left).
DIMENSIONS:
The height of the vertical beams to start the mini house is 100 cm.
The height of the (short) vertical beams is 52 cm.
The overall height of the BALI WITH RUNG RAIL model depends on the length of the chosen bed:
• For a bed length of 120 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 140 cm.
• For a bed length of 140 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 145 cm.
• For a bed length of 160 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 150 cm.
• For a bed length of 180 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 155 cm.
• For a bed length of 190 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 160 cm.
• For a bed length of 200 cm, the overall height at the highest point is 165 cm.
The standard height of the legs is 19 cm.
We can make the bed with shorter legs (10 cm).
Bed legs are made of 45/65 mm elements.
The bed frame is made of 90/20 mm elements.
The BALI WITH RUNG RAIL bed has railings on all sides.
By default, the front railing has dimensions of 1/2 of the bed length and is detachable.
In additional options, you have the possibility to extend the front railing to 2/3 of the bed length.
The overall height of the railings from the bed frame is approximately 23 cm.
The gap between the slats is approximately 5 cm.
To the total size of the bed, add 9 cm in length and width. Choosing a specific size from the website indicates the mattress size.
BALI WITH RUNG RAIL PLUS is the option with the drawer/drawers.
If you choose the length to 160 cm, in standard you get ONE DRAWER.
However, if you choose the length above 160 cm, in standard you get TWO DRAWERS.
Nevertheless, if you want ONE DRAWER only for the bigger size of the bed – please, don’t forget to include this information while making your order.
What is more, there is an option of the DRAWER WITH SLEEPING FUNCTION. You get the drawer with the additional base for the mattress instead of a regular drawer.
The drawer becomes the additional bed.
A drawer front is 18 cm high.
You can choose between two types of the handles:
- a milled handle,
- a rope handle.
To get the overall size of the bed you need to add 9 cm to the given length and width.
When you choose a size given on the website you get the size of the mattress.
MAXIMUM BED LOAD IS 100 KG.
THE MAXIMUM LOAD OF THE DRAWER WITH SLEEPING FUNCTION IS APPROX. 80 KG.
VARNISHING:
The beds are varnished with water-based paints, which are odourless and ecological.
The water-based paint is hypoallergenic and child safe.
MATTRESS:
Mattresses are not included in the bed sets we offer.
However, you can choose a suitable mattress in the "Mattresses" section.
Selecting a specific bed size from the website indicates the mattress size.
The mattress fits into the bed frame by 3 cm.
Please choose mattresses with a thickness of 9-12 cm maximum.
Considering a 10 cm thick mattress for the bed, the child sleeps at a height of 37 cm.
The photo shows the bed with a 10 cm thick mattress in use.
When choosing a drawer mattress, subtract 10 cm from the length from the selected bed size.
(i.e. bed 160/80 = mattress 150/80)
The drawer mattress should have a maximum thickness of 9 cm.
