Luletto Nursery Room Garlands

A decorative garland for a nursery or kids’ room is one of the easiest and most effective ways to add charm and personality to the space. Hung on a bed, house bed canopy, wall, or decorative string, it instantly creates a warm, cozy atmosphere and complements the room’s color palette.

Luletto garlands are handmade in Poland from high-quality velvet fabric and filled with anti-allergic silicone fiber balls, combining Scandinavian aesthetics, durability, and child-safe materials.

Two Types of Garlands: Triangle Garlands and Star Garlands

Triangle Garland

The triangle garland features soft velvet pennants in the shape of equilateral triangles, threaded evenly onto a string. This is a classic style of children’s decorative garland, often seen in boho nurseries and Scandinavian kids’ rooms. It fits beautifully into both minimalist interiors and more colorful, playful spaces.

Each triangle is made from 150 g velvet fabric and filled with silicone fiber stuffing, giving it volume, softness, and a defined shape that holds up over time.

Triangle garlands are available in a wide range of colors and prints, including:

Star Garland

The star garland consists of soft, three-dimensional velvet stars threaded onto a string at intervals of approximately 25 cm. It is available in versions with 5, 7, or 9 stars, depending on the length of the space you want to decorate.

The stars have a soft, padded structure that gives them a beautiful shape while making them pleasant to touch. They work both as a decorative detail and as a soft sensory element for older children.

Currently, the star garland is available in graphite.

Material, Filling and Certificates

All Luletto nursery garlands are made from velvet fabric with a weight of 150 g/m². Velvet is known for its soft, smooth texture and subtle sheen, which gives colors a rich and elegant appearance. The fabric weight ensures that each element keeps its shape and volume during everyday use.

Each garland element is filled with fluffy anti-allergic silicone fiber balls — the same filling used in Luletto braided bed bumpers. This filling is lightweight, springy, moisture-resistant, and does not clump after washing.

All products in this category are certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, confirming that the materials have been tested for harmful substances and are safe for babies’ sensitive skin.

All garlands are designed and sewn in Poland.

Care Instructions

The velvet fabric used in Luletto decorative garlands is washable and keeps its color beautifully over time when cared for according to the manufacturer’s recommendations:

• hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle,

• maximum temperature: 30°C,

• maximum spin speed: 800 rpm,

• do not tumble dry,

• after drying, gently reshape the elements by hand to restore their volume.

After washing, velvet may benefit from light brushing with a soft brush or your hand to restore its smooth, velvety texture.

It should not hang in a place where a baby could pull on it.

How do I attach a garland to a house bed?

The easiest way is to tie or wrap the garland string around the horizontal beam of the bed frame or roof structure. For wall mounting, invisible adhesive hooks or decorative pins work well.

Because the garlands are lightweight, they do not require heavy-duty fixtures.

Can I wash the garland in a washing machine?

Yes. The garland can be machine washed on a delicate cycle at up to 30°C, with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm. It should not be tumble dried. After drying, gently reshape the velvet elements by hand.

No. Garlands are shipped from a separate warehouse, and the lead time is 10–15 business days. Even when ordered together, the bed and garland may arrive in separate shipments and on different dates.

Does the garland fit all Luletto beds?

Garlands look best with beds that have horizontal beams or a roof frame, such as house beds, tipi beds, mini house beds, and bunk beds with a canopy frame. For classic beds without a roof, the garland can be hung on the wall above the headboard.
