Decorations for a child’s room

In the Decorations category, you will find all the textile and soft accessories that complete a child’s room after purchasing a bed. Each of these products is designed and sewn in Poland from materials certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning the fabrics have been tested for harmful substances and are safe for babies’ skin. The range includes four subcategories: cot bumpers, bedding, garlands, and canopies. The colour palette is shared across the whole category, making it easy to combine products into matching sets.

An important logistics note: bumpers and garlands are shipped from a separate warehouse and will not arrive on the same day as the bed. Canopies are made to order – their length is adjusted to the specific bed size.

Cot bumpers – velvet braided bumpers

A braided bumper is a soft, plaited protector wrapped around the cot bars. It protects the baby’s head from bumps, prevents arms and legs from getting stuck between the bars, and insulates from a cold wall. Luletto offers three thickness options:

• 3-strand bumpers – delicate, subtle braid

• 4-strand bumpers – the most popular option, thick and striking

• 5-strand bumpers – the fullest and most plush option

Each braid is made of velvet fabric composed of 96% cotton (150 g/m²) + 4% elastane, filled with anti-allergic silicone balls. Ties in the matching colour prevent the bumper from shifting on the cot bars.

The length is chosen by the customer and matched to the cot size (tolerance ±10%). Dimensions: 6 cm wide, 20 cm high. After its use as a cot bumper, the braid also works perfectly as a decorative cushion on a sofa.

A wide velvet colour palette is available – beiges, greys, graphite, pastels, and bold colours.

Cotton bedding – 100% Polish cotton

Luletto bedding is made from soft 100% Polish cotton, certified with Oeko-Tex Standard, and packed in an eco-friendly box – perfect as a gift. The bedding does not include filling (no duvet or pillow) – the set includes only a duvet cover and a pillowcase.

Available sizes

• Sizes for baby cots and children’s beds up to 140 × 70 cm

• Sizes for children’s beds: 140 × 200 cm and 160 × 200 cm – in these sizes, an option with two pillowcases is available

Design variants and collections

Luletto bedding is available in several design lines:

• Plain – solid colour, minimalist, available for example in eucalyptus, white, grey, and other colours matching Luletto bed palettes

• With frill – cover with a soft frill around the edge, more decorative and romantic, available for example in berry and beige

• Patterned – themed prints: forest, fantasy, balloons and planes, Christmas, and others

The bedding colours are chosen to match garlands from the same colour line – on the garland product pages, you will find a link to the matching bedding. All products are made in Poland.

Garlands for a child’s room

Luletto garlands are decorations made of velvet or muslin, intended to be hung on the beams of a house bed, tipi bed, or on the wall. Two shape types are available – triangles and stars – as well as two materials: velvet (deep, velvety sheen) and muslin (soft cotton texture). All garlands are designed and sewn in Poland and certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Triangle garland – muslin

The muslin triangle garland series is available in 3 length options:

• 7 triangles

• 9 triangles

• 12 triangles

Each triangle: 16 cm wide, 20 cm high.
Available in more than 17 colour variants: white muslin, blue, olive, light green, rainbow, cinnamon, birds, forest, dinosaurs/mint, mint, dusty pink, pastel pink, navy with stars, bottle green with stars, white with gold dots, and others.

Triangle garland – velvet

Velvet pennants made of fabric and filled with silicone balls – thicker and more decorative than the muslin version. Available in colours such as velvet red, velvet green, pastel pink, pink, and others. Ties allow them to be hung on a beam or wall.

Star garland – velvet

Three-dimensional soft stars strung on a cord at intervals of approx. 25 cm. Available in sets of 5, 7, or 9 stars. Available in graphite (and other colours – check the current range).

• 5 stars – for a short beam or headboard

• 7 stars – for the wall above a cot

• 9 stars – for longer spaces or XL beds

Care: hand wash or machine wash, delicate cycle, max 30°C, max 800 rpm, do not tumble dry.

Canopies – textile canopies for house beds

A textile canopy is a fabric canopy hung on the beams of a house bed or tipi bed. It creates a cosy, slightly enclosed sleeping space – reducing visual stimuli and giving the bed the character of a tent or little hut. All Luletto canopies are made to order – the length is adjusted to the selected bed size and drawer option (standard legs or higher legs).

Type A vs Type B – what is the difference?

Luletto offers canopies in two mounting types:

• Type A – the fabric is suspended on the horizontal roof beam of the bed and tied back at the sides. The set includes a tie-back bow in the selected colour. Please note: the photos show two fabrics on one bed – to achieve this effect, you need to order two pieces.

• Type B – the fabric is tied to the beam with ties in the canopy colour. Mounted on the outside of the beam. When ordering, creating folds is recommended because of the fabric width.

Two materials – tulle and muslin

Canopies are available in two fabrics with completely different visual effects:

• Tulle canopy (chiffon-like) – 100% polyamide, 30 g/m², width 160 cm. Light, airy, slightly translucent, with a delicate sheen. Creates a striking canopy effect without fully covering the bed.

• Muslin canopy (cotton) – 100% cotton, 130 g/m², width approx. 135 cm. Natural, soft, matte – cosier and more covering than tulle.

The fabric length is configured in the product configurator based on the bed size (e.g. 160 × 80, 190 × 90) and the leg option (standard or drawer height). The configurator works only with Luletto beds – if you have a bed from another manufacturer, please contact us by email before placing your order.

• Made in Poland – every piece is designed and sewn in a Polish sewing workshop, not imported from Asia

How to combine decorations into a cohesive room design

A Scandinavian-style child’s room is made up of several layers – furniture, textiles, and decorations. Luletto designs all of these elements in a consistent aesthetic, making it easier to combine products.

Minimalist option – calm and neutral

A bed in natural wood or grey + plain eucalyptus or grey bedding + a 3-strand braided bumper in grey or beige + a muslin triangle garland in mint or light green. A Type A muslin canopy in white or neutral beige for a cosy effect.

Warm, feminine option

A bed in white or pink + frilled bedding in beige or berry + a 4-strand braided bumper in dusty salmon or cherry pink + velvet triangle garland in pastel pink or a star garland. A Type A tulle canopy in white or pink for an airy effect.

Bold, neutral option

A bed in natural wood + patterned bedding (balloons and planes or forest) + a 4-strand braided bumper in bottle green or graphite + a muslin triangle garland in navy with stars or bottle green with stars. No canopy, or a natural muslin canopy.

Decoration delivery – what arrives and when?

Luletto decorations have different lead times and delivery logistics. Before placing your order, please note the following:

• Bumpers: shipped from a separate warehouse, will not arrive on the same day as the bed. Order in advance.

• Garlands: shipped from a separate warehouse, will not arrive on the same day as the bed. Lead time: 10–15 business days.

• Bedding: standard lead time; shipped in an eco-friendly gift box.

• Canopies: made to individual order – the fabric length is adjusted to the bed size and leg option; lead time is longer than standard.

If you are planning a room arrangement for a specific date – a birthday, baby shower, or move – order the decorations at least 3–4 weeks in advance to ensure timely delivery.

Frequently asked questions about Luletto decorations

Do Luletto decorations fit beds from other manufacturers?
Braided bumpers, bedding, and garlands fit any cot or bed – these are textile products with dimensions chosen by the customer. Canopies have a configurator designed for Luletto beds – if you have a bed from another manufacturer, please contact us by email before placing your order to determine the appropriate fabric dimensions.

What is the difference between Type A and Type B canopies?
Type A is mounted on the horizontal bed beam using a tie-back bow, creating the effect of a suspended curtain falling on both sides. The photos usually show two canopies at once – to achieve the same effect, you need to order two pieces. Type B is tied to the beam with ties on the outer side and falls vertically or with folds.

Is it possible to order a canopy for a bed with a drawer?
Yes. The canopy configurator includes the option for a bed with a drawer – choose the correct option when ordering, and the fabric length will be adjusted automatically.

What is the difference between a muslin garland and a velvet garland?
Muslin is a cotton fabric with a delicate, slightly crinkled texture – muslin garlands have a subtle, natural look. Velvet is a soft fabric with a sheen – velvet garlands look richer and more striking, with deeper colours. Muslin works better in bright, natural arrangements, while velvet suits bolder, more dramatic combinations.

Do I need to buy filling separately for the bedding?
Yes. Luletto bedding includes only the covers – one duvet cover and one pillowcase (or two pillowcases in sizes 140 × 200 and 160 × 200). The duvet and pillow filling should be chosen separately, according to the child’s age and the season.

Do all products in the Decorations category have the Oeko-Tex certificate?
Yes. All products in the Decorations category – bumpers, bedding, garlands, and canopies – are certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, confirming that the materials are safe for babies’ skin. All are designed and sewn in Poland.
