The best children’s bed with a safety rail for extra security
When choosing a safe bed for a child, it is worth paying attention to models equipped with protective rails. This solution ensures peaceful and safe sleep, minimising the risk of a child accidentally falling out of bed during the night. A children’s bed with a safety rail is not only a guarantee of safety, but also of comfort, as the child can feel cosier and more secure in their own space. As a result, parents can enjoy greater peace of mind during the night.
It is also worth looking for models that offer adjustable or removable rails, which means the bed can grow with the child and adapt to their changing needs. Investing in a well-designed, safe bed for a child is a decision that benefits both children and their parents.
Unique House Beds for Children – create a magical space
Creating a unique space for our children is an important part of their development. A children’s house bed is not only a place to sleep, but also a space that stimulates imagination and creativity. Thanks to its unique construction, such beds resemble a real little house, which makes every child feel special and safe inside. It is the perfect solution for parents who want to create a magical yet functional interior in their child’s room.
The construction of this magical bed for a child has been designed with the youngest users’ safety and comfort in mind. The low bed profile minimises the risk of falling while sleeping, while the solid materials ensure durability for many years. What is more, a children’s house bed can be personalised with accessories such as fairy lights, colourful cushions, or themed bedding, which further enhances the feeling of having one’s own little world.
By choosing a children’s house bed, we give our children more than just a place to sleep. We offer them a space that develops their creativity and allows them to build their own unique stories every day. Such an investment brings not only aesthetic value, but above all benefits for the child’s emotional and social development. That is why, when deciding on a house bed, it is worth remembering its multifunctionality and its potential to create unforgettable memories.
Practical children’s beds with drawers – a solution for small rooms
In small children’s rooms, where space is precious, a children’s bed with a drawer is the perfect solution. It not only provides a comfortable place for a child to sleep, but also offers additional storage space for toys, bedding, or clothes. This helps parents keep the room tidy and teaches the child their first lessons in organisation and responsibility for their own belongings. Choosing a bed with storage for a child is not only a practical decision, but also an aesthetic one that can influence the look of the entire room.
Features of the ideal children’s bed with a drawer:
• Make sure the bed is made from safe, durable materials.
• Check whether the drawers are easy to open and close, even for a child.
• Pay attention to the size of the bed and the amount of storage space available – it should match your child’s needs.
• Choose a model that stylistically matches the rest of the room, creating a cohesive and cosy space.
Investing in a bed with storage for a child is a step towards a functional and organised children’s room. It not only provides a comfortable sleeping place, but also helps maintain order and organise toys and other everyday items.
Solid wooden children’s beds – durability and style
When choosing a solid bed for a child, it is worth paying attention to the material from which it is made. Wooden furniture is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also durable and safe for health. A wooden children’s bed is an investment in the comfort and peaceful sleep of our children, as well as a guarantee of durability for years to come. Wood, as a natural material, brings warmth and harmony to a room, which is especially important in spaces designed for children.
Apart from durability and style, size and price are also important aspects when choosing. When selecting a wooden children’s bed, it is worth considering how well it adapts to the child’s growth and whether it can fit into changing room arrangements. A solid bed for a child is not only a place to sleep, but also a space for play and learning, so its choice should be carefully considered.
Materials and craftsmanship – pine glued wood, eco-friendly paints, rounded edges
All Luletto classic beds are made from carefully selected class 1 pine glued wood – more durable than solid wood, free from knots, and resistant to cracking. The elements are hand- and machine-sanded until smooth, and all edges are carefully rounded, which minimises the risk of injury during sleep and active play near the bed. Only eco-friendly water-based paints are used for finishing – hypoallergenic, odourless, and certified as safe for children. The maximum load capacity of each bed is 100 kg.
An exception in terms of material is the Simple series – the only one in Luletto’s collection made from solid pine wood rather than glued wood, which results in a lower price while maintaining the natural character of the furniture.
A sprung slatted base made of flexible slats mounted in holders is included in the price of every bed. The bed size given on the website refers to the mattress size – the mattress fits 3 cm into the bed frame.
Naming system – how to read the product names
Product names in the Classic Bed category follow a clear structure:
• Model name (e.g. Basic, Simple, Verto) – indicates the series and the style of the headboard
• Rail type in the name (straight, slats, fence, barierra) – indicates the form of the side rail
• DUO – two rails on both sides of the front with an entrance in the middle; each rail takes up 1/3 of the bed length, and the entrance the remaining 1/3
• PLUS – version with a drawer (up to 160 cm = 1 drawer; above 160 cm = 2 drawers as standard)

Frequently asked questions about classic children’s beds
What is the difference between the Simple and Basic series?
The Simple series is made from solid pine wood and is the most affordable in the category (from PLN 459). The Basic series is made from class 1 pine glued wood, which is more durable and more expensive than solid wood. Basic also offers many more models, rail variants, and Duo/Plus configurations. A simple rule: Simple is a budget-friendly choice while keeping natural wood; Basic is Luletto’s main premium line.
What does the Duo version mean?
The Duo version has two front rails arranged symmetrically – one on the left and one on the right side of the front – with a free entrance in the middle. Each rail takes up 1/3 of the bed length, and the entrance the remaining 1/3. The rails in the Duo version are fixed (not removable), and the entrance is always open. The standard version has one removable rail on the chosen side.
How many drawers are included in the Plus version?
For beds up to 160 cm in length, one drawer is supplied as standard. For lengths above 160 cm, two drawers are included as standard. If you would like one drawer for a longer bed, you can note this in the order comments. There is also an option for a drawer with a sleeping function (with an additional slatted base for a mattress).
What is the difference between a straight rail, slats, and a fence rail?
A straight rail is a smooth, continuous board – discreet, visually neutral, and suitable for modern interiors. Slats are vertical rods spaced approx. 5 cm apart – light and airy. A fence rail consists of slats with additional horizontal bars, creating a fence-like pattern – the most decorative option. The level of safety is the same in all cases.
Do classic beds suit Scandinavian-style rooms?
Yes – in fact, that is their natural environment. Pine glued wood, rounded edges, and clean lines without decorative roofs fit perfectly into Scandinavian minimalism. Models with slatted or straight rails in natural wood or white are especially recommended.
What accessories can be matched with a classic bed?
Accessories from the Decorations category match classic beds perfectly: bedding, bed bumpers (braided, 3-strand, 4-strand, and 5-strand bumpers), as well as decorative garlands. A suitable mattress can be selected in the Mattresses category.
