BED CARE AND CLEANLINESS

Beds made of laminated pine wood not only look elegant and are durable, but are also eco-friendly. Pine is an easily renewable material and, even more importantly, it has no negative impact on our children’s health. Everything has its level of durability, and as we all know, children use things quite intensively, so to slow down the wear of the furniture and protect it for many years, it is worth choosing a varnished finish. Our furniture is coated with certified, odourless varnishes and paints.

When choosing a place for the bed, please bear in mind that wood does not like direct heat sources such as a fireplace or radiator. In this respect, its needs are similar to those of our children: good ventilation, no humidity, and air that is not too dry all contribute to good sleep quality. If you have underfloor heating in your home, we recommend using felt pads under the bed legs.

As mentioned above, the room in which furniture made of laminated pine wood is placed should be aired from time to time, as this helps maintain the right humidity and temperature. Ideally, the room should be aired every day before bedtime, because fresh air will make your child eager to snuggle under the duvet and help them breathe comfortably.

Both solid wood and laminated pine wood should be protected from moisture, which is why it is very important not to clean the bed with a wet cloth. For cleaning, it is best to use a dry cloth or one lightly dampened with lukewarm water, a suitable soft-bristled brush, and a proper wood-cleaning product. Please remember that the furniture should be cleaned gently – heavy rubbing and pressure are not suitable for laminated wood. As is well known, pine wood is considered a delicate and demanding material.

Regular care of bedroom furniture is very important. Dust should not be allowed to build up on wooden furniture, as over time it may become more difficult to remove and can settle in hard-to-reach places. In addition, of course, your child will sleep better in a clean and dust-free room.
